Clarissa Henry, co-founder and co-owner of Care Team, LLC. has provided services to children, adolescents, adults and their families on private and governmental levels for over 15 years. She is a former NC LME Case Manager, an advocate for children and adolescents with special needs, and former business owner of a family counseling and case management practice.

As a former caregiver for four elderly family members over the last 12 years, she knows and understands the importance of having a trustworthy, competent, and nurturing staff person to care for her loved ones. She had to rely on the services of someone with the experience, compassion, and professionalism so that she could work daily and have occasional outings. She appreciated the assistance of a personal care worker to help prevent sending her loved ones to a nursing facility for a long as their health would allow.

Tamara Harrison-Pittman, co-founder and co-owner of Care Team, LLC. has provided child care services to infants and toddlers on private and governmental levels for over 8 years. Tamara had a daughter who weighed 4 lbs at birth, and was feeling a little uneasy with leaving her baby in the care of others. This what prompted her to start and manage her own childcare home. She felt that her daughter needed that one-on-one attention because of her low birth weight. So, that’s when the love for working with children began. She created an environment to care for her daughter alongside other children providing the same level of nurturing and security that all babies love.

Being a former childcare provider, Tamara understands the needs of parents having someone to call on when they need a break. She is a NC Childcare Health Consultant, and is very knowledgeable in the health and nutritional wellbeing of young children. Tamara is also an NC Certified Assisted Living Administrator and a strong advocate for young children and the elderly.
